Without replacing the roller blind system, the electric roller motor can be easily integrated and ensures more comfort in everyday life.

Control via Smart Life App

Operation is conveniently carried out via the Smart Life app (iOS & Android). Open and close your roller blinds comfortably via smartphone. In conjunction with a compatible Smart Gateway, remote control and cloud function are also possible – ideal for integration into existing smart home systems.

Automatic Time and Sun Control

Thanks to scene programming and weekly schedules, individual time programs can be created. Roller blinds open and close automatically at defined times or depending on sunrise and sunset. This automation not only improves living comfort but also supports energy efficiency and privacy.

Easy Retrofit Without Modification

The side pull drive is suitable for common chain-operated indoor roller blinds. Three chain adapters for different pull cord chain sizes are included. This allows for flexible adaptation to various roller blind systems.

Quiet Battery Operation with Stable Bluetooth Connection

How does the Bluetooth side-pull drive for blinds work?

The Bluetooth side-pull drive is mounted directly to the existing chain of your blinds or roller shutters. The integrated motor automatically pulls the chain and can be controlled via a smartphone app using Bluetooth. Installation is tool-free by simply clamping it to the end of the chain.

Which smartphones are compatible with the side-pull drive?

The Bluetooth motor is compatible with all common Android devices from version 5.0 and iOS devices from version 10.0. The free control app can be found in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. An internet connection is not required for basic functions.

How long does the Bluetooth motor's battery last?

With average use of opening and closing 2-3 times a day, one battery charge lasts approximately 4-6 months. Charging takes about 4 hours via the included USB cable. The app displays the current charge level and provides timely notification when the motor needs to be charged.

Can I control multiple blinds with one app?

Yes, you can manage any number of Bluetooth side-pull drives in one app and control them individually or in groups. The range is about 30 meters without obstacles. For control from other rooms, an optional Smart Home Bridge is recommended.

Can the motor be integrated into Alexa or other Smart Home systems?

With an additional Bridge, you can integrate the side-pull drive into common Smart Home systems such as Alexa, Google Assistant, or SmartThings. This also enables voice commands and integration into automations. The Bridge also extends the range for remote control.

What types of blinds is the Bluetooth drive suitable for?

The motor is suitable for all roller blinds and Venetian blinds with an endless chain or bead chain up to 6mm in diameter. The maximum weight of the blind to be moved is 8 kg. Before purchasing, you should check the chain type and blind load to ensure optimal function.

Can I program schedules for automatic opening and closing?

The app offers extensive timer functions, allowing you to program individual timers for each day. This way, your blinds will automatically open at specific times in the morning and close in the evening. Different schedules for weekdays and weekends can also be configured.

Does the side-pull drive also work without a smartphone?

After initial setup, the motor remembers the end positions and can also be operated manually. A remote control is optionally available. In the event of a power outage or dead battery, you can still operate the blinds manually via the chain.
