Integrated power measurement is standard and provides a transparent overview of the energy consumption of connected devices. In addition, individual time schedules and a timer function are available to control electrical devices automatically and energy-efficiently.

How do I connect an outdoor Wi-Fi smart plug to my router?
Setup is done via the Smart Life app. Plug in the outdoor smart plug, activate pairing mode, and then follow the instructions in the app. Please note that the connection is only possible with a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

What is the protection class of the outdoor Wi-Fi smart plug? The outdoor Wi-Fi smart plug has protection class IP44and is therefore protected against splashing water. This makes it ideal for outdoor use, e.g., in the garden, on the terrace, or on the balcony. Please ensure that the smart plug is not continuously exposed to direct weather or standing water.

Can I control my garden lighting by voice command?
Yes, the smart outdoor plug is compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant. After setup in the app, you can conveniently turn your connected devices on and off via voice control.

What is the power consumption of a Wi-Fi smart plug in standby mode? The power consumption of the Wi-Fi smart plug in standby mode is less than 0.8 watts, making it particularly energy-efficient. Annually, this amounts to only a few kilowatt-hours and minimal electricity costs, depending on usage.

What electrical appliances can I connect to the smart garden plug?
You can connect many common outdoor electrical appliances, such as fairy lights, garden lighting, pumps, or irrigation systems. More powerful devices are also possible, provided the maximum load of 3,680 watts (16 A)is not exceeded. Please always check the power consumption of the respective device before connecting it.

How do I create a schedule for my outdoor lighting?In the Smart Life app, you can create individual schedules for your outdoor lighting. To do this, open the device in the app and set daily, weekly, or one-time switching times under "Timer" or "Schedule". In addition, automations, e.g., after sunrise or sunset, can also be created depending on the device.

What happens to my settings in the event of a power outage?

Most high-quality smart home plugs store your schedules and settings permanently. After a power outage, they automatically reconnect to the Wi-Fi and continue the programmed switching times.
