Smart Life Roller Shutter Switch

The Merkur roller shutter switch connects directly to your Wi-Fi [2.4 GHz] - no additional gateway is required. This allows you to quickly integrate the Wi-Fi roller shutter switch into your existing network and maintain full control over your shading.

App features: Timers & Scenes

Use the Smart Life app to create individual schedules, automations, and scenes. Group controls and schedules ensure automatic raising and lowering at defined times, improving comfort and energy efficiency.

Precise percentage control & calibration

The switch allows for percentage-based opening and closing (0–100%) for precise light control. Calibration of the end positions (see instructions) ensures that the positions are reliable and reproducible – ideal for differentiated roller shutter control.

Installation & Dimensions

The Merkur roller shutter switch fits into all standard recessed boxes and is compatible with multi-frame systems (external dimensions 80 × 80 mm, switch cover 54 × 54 mm). The standard compatibility allows for clean retrofitting without additional installation effort.

Haptics & Voice Control

The mechanical push-button switch with spring mechanism provides tactile feedback and local operation even without an app. At the same time, the switch supports voice commands via Amazon Alexa and Google Home for hands-free control.

Does the switch also work manually?

Manual functionality is always given.

Can a percentage setting be made via Alexa voice command?

Unfortunately, this is not possible. You can only raise and lower the blinds via voice command. In the future, we will offer a roller shutter switch type with percentage setting.

Can multiple switches be grouped together?

You can create a group in the app and group the roller shutter switches together.

However, it is unfortunately not yet possible to define the opening degree to more precise values.

Can the smart roller shutter switches also be set so that they, for example, only close halfway? Or is it only fully open and fully closed?

The desired position of the blinds can be set in the app.

Why can't I see the position of the roller shutters in the app?

Exact value specifications are not yet possible at the moment.
