The thermostat can also be operated with an external temperature sensor. This accurately detects the actual room temperature, enabling particularly even and energy-efficient heating control. One sensor can control up to 8 thermostats, allowing for reliable group control.

Installation of the radiator thermostat is straightforward and requires no specialized knowledge. Suitable adapters for Danfoss, Caleffi, and Giacomini radiators are included for flexible use. This means the thermostat is quickly ready for use.

The Siro Smart Zigbee Thermostat can be easily mounted in place of the old thermostat head. Unscrew the old valve, place the smart thermostat on, and tighten the union nut. Various adapters for Danfoss and other valve types are included.

Which Zigbee gateway do I need for Smart Life app control?

You need a Zigbee 3.0 compatible gateway such as Tuya Smart or other smart home systems. The thermostat does not work via DeconZ, but exclusively via Zigbee adapters. The connection to the Smart Life app then happens automatically.

Can the external temperature sensor measure room temperature more precisely?

Yes, the external sensor measures the actual room temperature away from the radiator. This avoids measurement errors due to heat accumulation at the valve. The sensor overrides the internal temperature measurement for intelligent control of the desired temperature.
